Does anybody know what is a direct replacement for a Bristan Artisan shower mixer?

What I mean by that is........

I have undone the mixer from the wall (due to 2 x valve failures in 6 months) which leaves me with 2 x threads coming from the wall. I would like to install a more reliable mixer (I have used Grohe with no problems before) but I want to keep the discs that at present cover my holes in the tiles if that makes sense.

I.e change the tap body but keep the threaded unions?

Thanks

Pretty much any mixer with 150mm pipe centres. Assuming it is a bar mixer type?

it would need to be one where the "part that turns" i.e the threaded part is on the tap body not the union if that makes sense?

and yes its a bar type

As Denso said, practically all bar mixer valves have 150mm centres, so you're spoilt for choice
