Bristan Artisan Evo digital shower - - Error E1

I have a Bristan Artisan Evo Digital Mixer Shower - aproximately 6 years old
Water is fed from a Grundfos Negative Head STN Pump.
The shower has been working perfectly- However following a power cut the shower now fails to start and gives an error code E1.
I have gone through the manuaL and followed alll of the set up and pairing installations.
The shower indicates all of the correct lights during the setup and pairing sequence - but still fails to start- still giving error code E1.
I've spoken to Bristan Technical- but they are unable to help as they say the shower has been discontinued and they no longer have any spares or technical details for it???
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Turn off power to box turn off water
take top off box
Find 4 switches turn switch 4 to on
Power on box turn remote shower to on
Wait till light goes green
Turn remote to off
Turn Power to box off
Turn switch 4 to off
Put cover back on box
Hey presto remote will work now
