Dishwasher door won't stay open

Evening all.

Can anyone help. I have had this dishwasher for a year or so and ever since it was installed the door won't stay open unless the draw is out to weight it down. It flys up so quick and can be quite dangerous. Is there a way of adjusting it. Its a indicite dishwasher if that helps. Thanks in advance
