The door to my Tapan dishwasher won't open. I can unlock the handle by moving it from side to side, but the door won't open. I have wiggled the handle and the door. Neither results in the door opening.
A little more info, we have lived in the appartment for 3 weeks. The washer had some water in it when we first moved in. I ran it through a cycle and it was fine. Has been working fine until this. The previous tennant is a friend. He did not use the dishwasher for the 3 years that he was here.
There is no model number on the front of the washer. It appears to be at least 10 years old.
