Hi folks,

I've got a Beko DW603 dishwasher which has stopped draining. Everything else works fine but the drain pump never runs.

I've stripped it apart and the pump seems fine, rotates freely but stops at the magnets, has 180ohms resistance over it's windings, and everything is not blocked at all - all pipes clear etc.

The only other thing I can see is that there's a small thermostat probe in the bottom of the sump, is this used for detecting when the water is all gone & to turn off the drain pump?

If not, how does it know when to stop pumping?

Would appreciate any advice. Thinking about replacing the thermostat probe thing but I'm not convinced it will work.

Thanks.

If there is one fitted? could it be some sort of PCB that that has shall I call it lost the plot? and is not sending a signal to the pump to commence its work? all other functions work apart from the final step?

Just a consideration seeing that the pump would on the face of it be capable of duty, and no blockages??
