Dishwasher tripping power switch

Can't tell much from your pics . Are the mating surfaces of the isolation valve and the hose clean and flat ? If so ,are you tightening up sufficiently when fitting the hose onto the valve ?

Hi T

Yes clean and flat. Trying to tighten sufficiently without over tightening. The problem is you’ve got to do some jiggery pokery to connect due to angle of isolator/supply.

Thanks again

May just be the picture is out of focus ,but the face of that isolation valve doesn't look smooth and flat .
You can't really overtighten it by hand

Another picture. Looks fine to me. Have noticed that the old washer sits more snugly in the hose. Ie the lugs secure under the ridges on the hose etc. The new one just falls out easily.

Thanks

Is it possible that, when you tighten up the blue plastic nut, it is externally coming up against something that prevents it from fully tightening ?
I can't see any reason for the seal not making a watertight connection.

It’s odd. I thought I’d solved it. Tightened so that none of the external thread on the isolator was visible. Connected water and it was shooting out. Guess it pushed the washer out of kilter? Normally, there is some of the thread visible when tightened fully. Is that what you’d expect?

All I can think of is replacing the hose as they’re dirt cheap.

Thanks again

I wouldn't expect to see very much ( if any) of the isolators thread, when the hose is connected up.
