Dishwasher wont wash - Neff

Hi am really hoping someone can help me. We have a Neff S4453 dishwasher which has stopped working correctly. When you switch it on and push a setting, it drains as always and fills before starting its cylcle. The problem is it doesnt start its cycle, it just sits there, making a very quiet hum. Does not wash but does let the powder cube go after a while, but thats about it. Its seems to fill and you can definately drain it but it wont wash .

Check out the posts on this forum for Bosch dishwashers (which is substantially what you've got, just with a higher price tag).
Lots of posts, but, sadly, little feedback on successful repairs. You might be lucky, though...
Could be you have the same problem as I did: not enough water in the sump for the circulating pump to work - just hummed instead. Never did get to the bottom of it. Machine is now on its way to China to make a box of screws.
