The photo below shows a plastered brick wall on the left and a door frame on the right.

The width in the space available is 23 cm.

If a tall radiator is 20.6 cm wide (with valves under the rad), this leaves 1.2 cm on each side.

Is there any issue with the rad being this close to either the brick wall or the door frame?

Thanks.

Need to see a 3D picture or description of it in cluing Z axis. it It's not going to affect plaster 1.2cm away. Whether it affects the door frame depends on what its made of. The main criterion is will convection currents provide effective heating from that placement.

The location is at the centre of the longer wall (rectangular room).

The frame is a softwood, I think it's most probably spruce/pine (1930s).
