DIY drain unblocking warning!

So will B&Q be removing all their gas appliances and gas fittings from the shelves because they are too dangerous for JoeTwatPublic to be DIYing with.

NO, oh, so it's too dangerous for "one" person to injure "themselves", but it's not classed as dangerous to blow up half the street injuring "many", wish they would make their mind up, is DIY gas work dangerous or not, YES OR NO ????????, if it's yes, take gas stuff off the shelves at the same time.....

When it happens, they'll take their boilers off the shelves in a heartbeat. Until then, they'll just be knee-jerking themselves off to some other freak event

Used to do quite a bit of work in a hotel as the urinals were constantly blocking up.

I used to clear it with Hydrochloric acid , on this particular day for a reason I have yet understand I decided to bung some bleach down as well for good measure .

It produced weapons grade gas which I have since learned was Chlorine gas !!

This of course assumes that every one buying a gas appliance from B&Q are installing it themselves ??

I have bought gas appliances from B&Q & have sent many people to B&Q to self purchase gas appliances none of whom are diyers !!

Lethal stuff that one shot -thought that it was out of general sale a while back? - know the plumb center and pts havent stocked it for a while - I learnt my lesson with it a few years back when instead of clearing the blockage it syhoned into a ladies washing machine that ended up in a new washing machine, also had a arm half way upto the elbow covered in it once when getting the plug out of a whb - never again

I have bought Drain Cleaner and sent many people to B&Q to purchase drain cleaner, non of who are DIYers,

You take one dangerous thing off the shelves, why not take them all off ??
