Hi. My 1st time posting but hope someone can help. I'm looking at turning my daughters mid sleeper into a hi sleeper. It currently has 2×2 legs but I'm unsure what wood I will need to use and if that thickness will be ok if it's higher. Any other advice will be much appreciated. I'm trying to figure out how to add a photo.. hopefully will shortly. Thanks in advance ☺

Dont do what you propose. It could be dangerous - presumably its for kids?

Little monkeys bouncing on a shaky platform could bring the whole thing down, or even worse, it could suddenly collapse in the night.

Go out and buy what you need from new. Just an opinion.

I know what your saying but my daughters bed is small n to go and buy new it wouldn't fit in her room. (Believe me u would if I could).

Depending on how DIY handy you are you could build a platform to fit the space available. But you would then need safe steps or a safely fixed ladder.

Perhaps post a pic of the space?
