Any increase in gas prices has a knock-on effect for electricity as it is used to power around half of the UK's generators........
Centrica, the energy supplier, which like BG was spun out of the old British Gas, upset consumer groups on Monday when it said that it could be forced to increase domestic fuel prices later this year by around 10% - on top of the two rises it introduced in 2004
Think I'll leave painting outside me house this year!! Might even spray the outside walls with some of that 'posh mud' ready for when they come round.
Seriously tho this opdm is quietly taking over our homes, sneaking in all these regulations, Soon we will need permission and another fee to paint our property. Buildng control fees are fast becoming a monyspinner like tax cameras.
Said before, the ultimate plan is to make living so expensive that below average earnings all one's dosh goes to HMG - who know, of course, best how to spend it - They then, if one is lucky, return a portion deemed livable via benefits... captive vote ?
