Evening all,

Having recently moved into a new (to us) house, I'm trying to crack on with jobs myself the best I can. This site looks like a haven of information for me to help me get started!

We bought a nest to replace our ageing 'ACL' (Drayton?) thermostat and programmer. The date on the back of the programmer is September 1990!

Anyway, we have a Potterton Suprima 60 boiler with a hot water tank in the bedroom so I guess you'd call this a conventional setup. I've found the Honeywell wiring board near the programmer in the garage where everything connects into and I think I sort of have my head around how it's working after drawing it out on paper (attached, excuse the poor diagram!).

Is anyone able to advise whether this is a pretty simple install in terms of connecting the Heat Link and Thermostat in the hallway? If so, please could you shed some light on how I should be connecting this? Is it a simple swap out of the programmer for the HeatLink?
If it's too much to explain, then I may well leave it to a professional!

Thanks in advance!

Download the Honeywell app
Or just google Honeywell s plan diagram.
And make sense of your wiring from there.

Personally I'd start that wiring again it's a mess
