Hi i want to install a radiator above the head end of the bath, will it need earthing? if so how?

Do you mean a wet CH radiator?
Will it be supplied by plastic pipes, or copper?
Are other items in the bathroom bonded?

A bathroom is a special location so unless it is with plastic pipes you will need supplementary earth to one of the pipes. It has to be at least 4mm2, if it is a really long run of cable than make it 6mm2 to be on the safe side. You can take it form any other extraneous conductive part in the house which is bonded to the main earthing terminal.
I think you need to do the update 17th mate. Your info is incorrect, Even when supplementary bonding is required it should be between the earth of any circuit in the bathroom (lighting one is normally the only one) and the pipes (not a pipe).
Do you know the difference between EEBADS and ADS ?
If the circuit (s) in the bathroom are RCD protected no supplementary bonding is required.
OP do you have an RCD based circuit board and do you have 10mm earth bonding to the gas intake and main water stop cock ?
