I've been basing my budget on brands I know basically Kingspan and Celotex.
For 150mm boards getting prices like £72 (Kingspan Therma Insulation board TP10 TF70), but then I happened to spot unknown (to me) brands like Eco-Therm Eco Versal Insulation Board and Recticel Eurothane GP Insulation Board both for £48. The specs seem virtually identical but that big a difference in price makes me a bit wary.
It's for use in a pitched roof, outside the rafters, but then sheathed with timber boards for shingles (so no breaks). Also for under-floor between the joists - though for the latter I am wondering if wool might be a more price-savvy option?
