Just wondered if anyone had ever changed the perspex dome on a flat roof rooflight for glass, if so how did they do it. Open to any sensible suggestions 20210422_155755.jpg

How would you do it? The domed perspex is screw fixed through holes around the perimeter.

I suppose you could have a frame fabricated out of angle and fixed to the frame, then the glass dropped (sealed) into the frame. Safety issues asside .....

Not sure what the safety issue would be? Would use Toughened or even laminate glass anyway.
Ideally need to do away with the perspex ..might have to be a new rooflight I suppose
