We have used a portable air con unit for a couple of years and this has proved quiet good, its only problem is that the 'Fresh' air it needs to draw in and expel is often full of fatty /paraffin smelling smoke etc from the barbies that come with the hot weather.
Would seem that a small split level air con unit would readily overcome that problem.
There are the usual big commercial names like Mitsubishi,LG and Panasonic plus a few more unknown names ( to us) seemingly doing smaller units for the home market. eg TCL,
Does anyone have any first had experience of such domestic sized unit and recommendations as which brands are good ?
