Door brush strip

Hi I wanted to purchase brush door strips. Is plastic or aluminium better? Also if I was to get aluminium is it easy to cut with a saw?

Don't know about which door strip is best, but aluminium is quite a soft metal and cuts easily with a hacksaw.

If it is an external door plastic would be better as aluminium may suffer from oxidisation if it gets wet ( even on the inside of the door )
