just a quick question, why on a door frame size does it give the depth as 115mm but then state the finished depth is 106mm?

Cos door casings are planed wood and planed is always undersize. Quoting the nominal un planed size.

The theory is that planing can remove different depths, so a nominal size is quoted. But in real life the machine just takes off a set amount, so it's big Con.
