Have a 594 x 2014 x21mm louvre door. Will be building an alcove cupboard.

I was going to build my own door lining although cannot find any straight wood. All local sheds have bendy, knotted and split pine.

Found an online company who'll make a door lining to my measurements. Brilliant.

What opening width would be optimal for a 594mm door?

[Edit] guessing 600 but buying one focuses the mind. Making one, I'd have wriggle room

By your timber from a local timber yard. Sometimes they are as cheap/cheaper than the sheds but their quality is usually much higher. I find PSE redwood pine is a lot less knotty than the pine you get in the sheds and no twists.
