Door problems

Great site btw!!

I've got a hotpoint Aquarius which we have had nothing but problems with it!
The latest one is with the door. We have to open & slam it a couple of times for the machine to work, and sometimes it won't even work at all...

any ideas please!!??

door seal or more than likely door interlock, how old is m/c

couldn't say for sure, guessing about 5 years

it's the aquarius 1200 WM64

i should say door interlock / pecker asembly (the pecker connects to the door interlock)

i would suggest you get a new one, but make a note of where all the bits go bfore you take it out, and UNPLUG the m/c
