Door sticking noise after painting frame

Hi

what’s the best solution to stop the sticking noise after painting frame?

I have the frame plenty of time to dry out after painting with satinwood finish.

Rubbing washing up liquid on the frame and door edges where the sticking takes place should sort it out.

If you mean that when closed the door sticks to the door stop part of the frame, then the sticking is known as "blocking". It is fairly common with waterbased paints.

AFAIK there is no permanent way to stop it but some people recommend dusting the surfaces with talc. Wax should work but I am not sure if it will soften the waterbased paint over time.
