Door won't close on White Knight C43AW 43AW 6kg Integrated Vented Tumble Dryer

Hi everyone,

I've got an issue with my tumble dryer as the door won't close without me using sellotape to keep it shut (as shown in the photo

. I've bought a replacement latch for the door (see below) but I'm not sure if that's the issue or how easy it will be to replace. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Latch looks ok in your picture? It's the other bit on machine that's bust probably. Undo screws seen in your picture

One leg of the spring that fits inside the door hook you have pictured rests up against the white outer door frame. That piece on the frame snaps off leaving the handle floppy and unable to latch.If you put it back together you can usually prise the spring leg onto the clear plastic inner door.The part you need is no longer available from the manufacturer unless you can source one elsewhere.

I don't suppose you know what the part I need would be called do you? Or where I might look for it?

You've already been told that part is no longer available, buy a replacement machine off marketplace, machines of that ilk often pop up for £20 or so.
