Looking for advice.

Just coming to the end of completion on a dormer loft conversion by a local building company and I have noticed that the end ridge capping stops short of the roof line, looks like they have stopped short, pointed the last cap and left about a foot of roof ridge with just roof felting stuck over it?
Looks a mess from the front of house. As you can see the dormer stops about 6 inches short of the end of the roof. Attached pics.

Get them back to fit the infill. The ridge tile serves an important service and is much better than a strip of felt and bit of cement.
All it needs is another length of ridge tile cut down to size with an angle grinder and bedding in to finish the line correctly.
It doesn't matter where the dormer stops as it clearly shows the dormer is not interfering with the other ridge tiles.

Cheers guys just as I thought. Been back on to the company today sending emails explaining the above and that I'm not happy with the works done.
There reply "We will forward the pics to the roofer. A lot of our roofs are like this as with other companies".
Couldn't make it up, Waiting for a response back.
