Hi all,
I'm a first time buyer, looking to buy my first family home and recently viewed a property that had previous been extended to the rear. Currently the loft is not utilised and doesn't have any work done on it.
I've read the planning regulations and I'm fairly comfortable with permitted developments etc for a straightforward loft, but the extension (shown in the pic below) is throwing me off somewhat. Anyone able to offer any guidance on whether a dormer window utilising the full 50cm3 allowance would even be possible from a construction perspective (i.e. how would it even fit there) and secondly from a planning perspective?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I will in due course get the surveyor to provide us an opinion but we're not that far down the process yet.
