double dimmer switch in kitchen

Hi I need to change a double dimmer switch, it switches two separate circuits
one circuit has 5 X 11w gu10 dimmerable cfl's and they don't dim smoothly and blink at times the other circuit has 3 X 28w ses halogen energy savers and they whilst dimming a bit smoother still blink the odd time

presumably I need to change this dimmer as it's the wrong One?
What type of dimmer do I need and how do I find the spec of the one I'm using

The spec will probably be written on the back of the dimmer. Usually it will say the make and model number.

Buy the dimmer specified by the maker of the lamps.
