Hi Guys,

Need a little help here

I have some under 240v cabinet lights and some 12v kickerboard lights to wire up

I want to control both lights with a double light switch

I am going to take a feed from the lighting circuit down to a double light switch

And do a live switch and the Neutral’s linked together

Do i link over the live to the other switch and do the same way live switch and Neutral linked as well

This giving control to the two lighting circuits

Is this right or is there a better way

Diagrams if you have or advice

Thank you

Yes higgie, that's about the size of it - and it is the 'best way'.

Take your live and neutral feed to the switch. Connect the live feed to the common terminal of the first switch and link it to the common of the second switch. Put the neutral feed into a connector block. Then it's simply a matter of connecting the two switched lives to their respective loads with the neutrals being connected together in that connector block.

(Earth/cpc connections omitted for clarity).
