double pole socket

I'm adding a double pole socket to a ring main. The socket has 1 live, 1 neutral and 2 earth connection points. Do I need to connect to both earth terminals.

No the 2 earth points are common.
If you have 2 earths ( 2 cables from ring main )its good practice to put one in each terminal to ensure the socket is earthed should one of them come out.
