Journalists have walked out of a planned Downing Street briefing in protest at “Trump-style” attempts by the PM’s communications chief to restrict it to selected media outlets.

The incident happened after No.10 invited political journalists to a “technical briefing” on Boris Johnson’s plans for a trade deal with the EU

I noticed that in todays papers, this story was only on the front of the Independent and Gyardian.

Not a dicky bird about on Telegraph, Daily Mail, Express, Sun.

I wonder why that might be

The interviewer either does not know themselves, is too scared to correct her or has been told not to cause any issue because it may lead to loss of access.

Downing street complain bitterly about channel 4 and BBC with claims of bias, which gets many on the Leave side banging drums.
Yet the Telegraph, Daily Mail, Express, Sun etc are allowed to to spout absolute lies with impunity
There not one iota of equivalence.

How can we get out if this hole
