Hi all

Just a quick question, I currently have a down stairs bathroom, this is also where the hot water tank is located.

I want to put a new bathroom upstairs, can I use the existing hot water tank in its current position or will I have to move the tank to maintain the water pressure?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the speedy reply.

The header tank is in the loft.

Just bear in mind that the pressure from the taps in the new bathroom will be less than the existing taps it feeds now.

Thank you.

The current pressure isn't bad, but would it be best to put in a pump as well?

The cold short be an issue as it is mains pressure.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the correct taps are fitted, ie ones suitable for tank feed. Pump not needed.
