It's time to install the DPM prior to the pour so I wanted to make sure that I'm on the right track before I start.
It's a garage base with a front and back pier.
I understand to 'dog-ear' the inside corners.
For the piers I was going to cut a small piece of DPM so that it's about 150mm onto the sand (a reverse dog-ear at the outside corners) and up the side of the block to lap into the DPM. Then when the larger sheet is laid over, I'd cut the DPM towards the bottom and fit around the pier and duct tape the joints.
Does that sound about right or do I need to think of an alternative way to install around the piers?
