Hello,

I have a primatic hot water tank and I need to drain the system to help with the replacing of a radiator.

Can I just shut off the mains and drain with a hose then (once radiator is done) open up the mains again to refill or do I have to do something 'special' to maintain the airlock within the primatic tank?

thx

You will have to turn off cold supply to cylinder & drain htg system which will empty the cylinder when you refill the air bubble will reform itself.DO NOT add any inhibitor to rads
