I have a heating system to drain down in a bungalow. There's no drain off so am drawing through the rad valve of a radiator I have taken off to upsize. Guess this won't get all the water out though as it is not the lowest point.

Are you askin a question or makin a statement? Not being funny just asking?
To answer no it won't if it's not the lowest point and are all the rads on drops from the attic or up from under floor ?

Sorry a question, all pipes are fed from under the floor not on drops.

Once I drain water from that valve it won't drain any water from below the valve?

If you attach a hose to a small length of copper pipe with nut & olive into valve. Stick hose outside open valve and open bleeds on the other rads and it will drain
