Just moved into new home and noticed Te draught that comes from behind the toilet pipework which is boxed in with tiled finish. The gap to get anything down there is tight to insulate. Any suggestions for what I what can be used for filling? And this insulating this area

you could also stuff mineral wool, as used for loft insulation, into the gap. Expanding foam glues the pipes, wall and boxing-in firmly together, which is inconvenient if maintenance is ever needed.

Hardly worth buying a new roll, but if you do, look for the wool treated with Ecose, which prevents it shedding irritant dust and fibres. It will be marked on the packaging.

Looking at the wrong end, draught has to enter boxing from outside , that's where it may need sealing.

could just use some white silicon to seal the hole.
