Edwardian terrace, single glazed original sashes (recently draughtproofed) to the front. No roof insulation but loft floor insulated to 270mm, minimal draughts elsewhere. Central heating works well and all the rads heat up ok, but they are all sited on the walls adjacent to the window walls. When it's cold it feels like there is a constant battle going on between cold and hot draughts throughout the house. Would moving the rads underneath the windows solve this problem and give a more even temp around the house? Answers appreciated.
