Drayton Digisat+30002

Had to buy a new Digisat+ 30002 room thermostat as the old one became faulty. The new one will not "pair" with the SCR receiver next to the boiler( Vaillant ECO Tec). I have followed the installation guide over and over again but the SCR is not receiving any signals from the new thermostat. Can anyone help please? Many thanks

Are you sure you purchased the correct one? There’s a hard wired and RF version.

Have you definately bought the correct one , it should say on the box Digisat+ 30002 RF601

It says on the box Digistat+ 30002 ( no RF601 ) I`ve noticed on the display screen there isn`t a little symbol on the left of a radio mast but it shows it on the box. Could it be the new one is just not working properly?

Sounds like you have the wrong one, open the thermostat and if there are terminals in there to wire into you have the wrong one

Thanks for your response ianmcd. I think your right. It didn`t say RF601 and there was no radio mast symbol in the lcd display. I have now returned it to B&Q and will try to source another from elsewhere.

This one should work, B&Q do appear to sell the wireless one, but at an eye watering £108!

Hi all and thanks for all your replies on this topic. I have now purchased another Digistat room thermostat which is a wireless model. This appears to be working normally. Problem solved (I hope!)
