Drayton TRV 4's

Hi Guys,

Have any of you come across any problems with these valves?

In particular the plastic at the base of the valve is breaking and the head simply falls off the valve body. Any ideas why?

i only fit trv4's but never had any issue like yours with them.

are you talking about new ones or existing?
I don't fit them, but I see 1000s and never seen this

I've seen a couple do it. I supose it's a combination of the heat making the plastic brittle and someone being a bit rough with it!

Only fit drayton trv'4 never had problem.you wern't getting them of ebay was you

They can snap off, the plastic goes brittle just above the collar.

I will put this down to experience. Have fitted hundreds of these and never seen this before myself.

Just thought I'd asked in case I was missing something
