if it's brand new change it. it may be a faulty casting.
Had exactly the same problem yesterday!
You need to flush it out for a minutes or 2 - on both hot and cold.
Mine was caused by an airlock and as soon as I flushed it through, it was fine.
It was a Tapmate too.
