Hi all,

My shower head is constantly dripping despite the knob being turned fully off on the shower valve. I've just moved into the house and it's a pretty old looking exposed Mira thermostatic mixer shower. Is the the valve faulty and repairable in the same way that a dripping tap just requires a new washer? I can only seem to see how to access the thermostat cartridge, not any washers etc. I assume replacing the shower head will achive nothing?

Thanks for any advice

Yes, in principle, but they are more complex than taps.

Photo please?

Well it won't stop the dripping, but you'll have a new shower head. ;)
