My kitchen tap is dripping. I have removed the covers to look at replacing washers but there are red and blue pieces of plastic getting in the way. I've uploaded photos, any idea how these are removed?

Thanks

Don`t think you will find washers in it, more like cartridges and that is an end of such.

Depends if its a good brand or an el cheapo.
Find the brand look up the cost of spares (if they exist) and decided from there. If it's a £80-120 tap just replace with new.
