Works for me lol,mine was a quick fix as did not want to spend money when tank was being removed 2 months after.

Dripping valve on hot water header tank

We re-used the old ball as there didn't seem to be anything wrong with it and was exactly the same as the new ones.
The float has been set to the same level as the previous one (with a bend in the arm) and is well over 50mm lower than the overflow

Well thanks to R Daltrey but it don't stop the dripping!
