Hi
We recently had the parapet wall on our roof leaded. Good job no leaks anymore. However now when it rains large drops accumulate and drip off and and hit the window sill of the bedroom underneath making a loud noise enough to keep us awake.
Got the roofer out who tried to splay the drip edge a bit, but it is still catching the sill. Any ideas how to fix? I thought the lead would be sloped so water runs backwards into the box gutter, but the parapet is flat. I guess putting a slope now would be impossible without redoing the lead completely?
I thought maybe a bead of leadmate along the top might stop the run off?. Or other idea is to put something on the sill to soften then drip?
Thanks for any help getting me a good nights sleep!
