I will be doing my parents driveway hopefully in the summer when they are away for 14 days and i give up 2 weeks of my holidays. Me and my dad can't decide the best way for me to go about doing it. The driveway will be sloped down by a total of 3 inches from pathway on the road to the garage floor. I will put channel & grate between driveway and garage and the size is 17ftx7ft.
Idea 1 is to concrete it in 2 sections.
Idea 2 is 2 strips of concrete 2ft wide each contained in a brick wall and 2ft wide section of grass using grass grids.
Idea 3 is to do idea 2 doing equal sections over a number of weeks.
Only thing I have made is a small brick wall planter which for first attempt is still standing 5 years later and square.
If all goes to plan I would hope to get the cement down on days 5 and 6 if I was to use brick method id like to get them down on day 4.
