Hi,

I bought an old (lower) victorian flat which has a toilet bang in the middle... with no venting. I can't move it as the soil vent is also bang in the middle. I got a building warrant to cover various bits and pieces and included in that was running a vent through the bedroom and to the outside wall.

Obviously I'd like to make that as inobtrusive as possible so was looking at flat channel ducting:

Wondering though if there are regs relating to drop towards the outside to stop condensation running back towards the fan?

Thanks

Can you not run the ducting, wether it be rigid or flexable between the floors? preferably between joist to an exteral wall.

Also where does this condensation come from? i've seen cow pats steaming but never ordinary turds.

Yes sorry omitted to mention shower going in too. Above ceiling is a good idea. Vent will run parallel to joists so should work. Any thoughts on incline?
