Hi all
Please help. I have a problem with a heating system. It has a Potterton Suprima 100 and is a drop system. I have 3 downstairs rads that are not getting heat and the pipes up to them are... No Trv's at all and new pump has been fitted along with the obligatary pcb in the boiler. Can't get any air out of the rads and the vent is combined with the cold feed. Gonna try power flushing tomorrow then filling up through the drain off... Any other ideas please?

Thanks

Jelboy

Have you balanced the system? If you close off all the upper rads, do the downstairs ones get hot? If you're not familiar with this, look up "balancing" using the "search" above.

If the system is filling the upstairs rads then why are you going direct to powerflush and back fill?
Sounds like an airlock between up and down. Try shutting off all the upstairs rads to try and push it through. Or open the drain offs (s) (hose attached!) and let a little out to get it moving.
