Hello.
I'm sure there must be some info on dryling on here already so could some one point me in the right direction please?

I need to re plasterboard my very old kitchen extension before getting a new one fitted. I haven't seen the walls yet but I'm assuming they'll be bare brick. I was going to fix battens and put the cables behind the board and use foil lined on the external wall.Good idea? Can I use tapered board and tape to avoid plastering the whole lot and just sticking to the joins?

I also need to put in a ceramic tile floor so if there's a thread open then please let me know.

thanks

Your absolutely right, there are & many of them  Regular contributors on all the Forums will help all they can with specific questions but to get an OP asking us to do all the searching for them is a bit rich . Try using the search button initially at the top r/h side of the page, clues are dry lining will be in “Plastering” or “Building” & tiling will be in “Tiling”.

There are far too many archive threads to list specifics & many go into great detail so do a search on each forum yourself, have a read & come back with specific questions on things you don’t understand.

If you need to find a tradesperson to get your job done, please try our local search below, or if you are doing it yourself you can find suppliers local to you.
