Replacing barge boards.
Original wet verge, tiles overhang some 75mm+ from front of board
Cement onto asbestos for wet verge
As the tile overhang is too much for dry verge,if i cut tiles back
verge will sit on the lower part of tile profile, just worried about water ingress.
What is the correct way to fo this, fit dry verge.
If i batten out to bring barge board forward it might
Not look right.
Your advice please
Thanks d

I think I get you, as I have the same roof tiles and was considering doing a dry verge. I think we'll have to go with either bringing a new barge out on battens which would make the visible ends @ the eaves appear very "thick" or maybe fit a " mini "barge (plastic) just deep enough for the dry verge to sit on against the original barge. If you get my drift. I don't like the idea of the verge on the lower tile profile too. Hope this helps - one day I'll do mine;)
