Ihave a new combi boiler i.e less than 6 months old. Last week when the temperatures locally were minus 6 degrees centigrade, I had no heating or water for 3 days .
Couldn't get hold of the company who fitted the boiler, which is still under guarantee and had to get Scottish GAs who I have a contract with. The problem was sorted in less than ten minutes, a pipe that takes the drips from boiler to the drain, had been fed to the outside wall and was frozen solid. The system, qute rightly had defaulted to off for safety.
It has been fine until today, I have heat and water but now the DT20 programmer is flashing up SE62 on the led screen.
Is this a minor or a major error? Does anyone know. This code does not appear inthe boiler manual. I dont want to be getting the Gas board out again for something than may be sorted by resetting the system.
