Dulux Black Satinwood paint

Hi, looking for some advice on dulux black satinwood paint that I bought. I’m using on an internal door, I’ve used a dark grey primer and have now applied three coats of black satinwood and it looks terrible. Doesn’t look black at all, sort of opaque grey, not much more than a varnish with a hint of colour, nothing like the photos I’ve seen of results.

I’m wondering if I have a faulty batch, or is this what it’s meant to be like? If so I can’t imagine getting to black in under 10 coats.

Yes, stirred furiously, especially after seeing how it looked when doing first coat

Water based? Oil based?
