So started painting with satinwood and dryed nice 2nd tind on 14 doors and frames, window sills ect dryed like gloss even after a week so cutomer not happy i started to rub down doors . I emaild dulux 3 times had no responce We finished all but 1 door rubbed down. I called dulux on there expensive number when i got trough off hold i said what had happend and the guy said you should have contacted us first you dont need to rub down,i have sent email after email about the problem (dulux):- well we get a lot of emails. He said there was a problem with a batch and that it takes 4 weeks to dry what... Yes u heard right 4 weeks . So trading standers should come in on this as it does say 16 hrs on tin who wants wet unfinished paint for a month. And paint overlaps is not a good finish It has cost me money and labor thanks dulux for not what it said on tin. For you to no it takes 4 weeks to dry means you have known over 4 weeks so why have you not contacted your diy suppyers to print advice lables as update . Is it because people see 4 weeks drying time to finished product they wont buy it
