Duravit Starck 3 toilet seat cracked or snapped

Anyone had a Duravit Starck 3 toilet seat crack or snap on them. I've had this happen more than once (no laughing).

I am trying to establish how common it is for the plastic seat that rests on the ceramic pan break. I cant be paying 100 pounds a time to replace.

Already found a few cases on this forum but I think its worth a thread.

Yes, this has happened two times for me. The first time I got a new seat for free from the store. Then it happened again. I will go to the stor again and complain and ask for yet a new seat. I don't know why or how it happens, but it is always on the left side. The hinge i plastic breaks for some reason. I
